Lamp Lighters

Lamp Lighters encourages our children and families to memorize and retain God’s Word.  We believe that Scripture memorization is a fundamental part of a child’s spiritual formation. Children are given a passage of Scripture to memorize approximately every four weeks.  The passage correlates to what is being taught in the Teach Me to Worship curriculum.  The Scripture is reviewed and practiced each week during Kidz of Hope.  To encourage participation, we offer individual incentives to keep children memorizing new verses, as well as retaining all the previous passages that have been memorized.
