Welcome to Kids of Hope, our Sunday School program for preschool through 5th grade. We meet from 9:30 to 10:15 during the school year, and we would love to have your child join us!
During our time together, our goal is to joyfully equip our children to know their creator God and understand their need for redemption through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this through emphasizing four key learning goals:
Scripture Memory
Our goal is to immerse our children in scripture, and we encourage families to work on the memory verses from class throughout the week.
Application
We want our children to know God’s Word, but just as importantly, we want them to understand how it applies to their lives and defines who they are.
Prayer & Worship
We worship with our children during the service, so one of our goals is to teach them the importance and practice of prayer and worship.
Loving Your Neighbor
Loving your neighbors is taught all throughout scripture, and it is a key area that we focus on as we train our children to love each other just as Christ loves us.
What to expect:
Preschool – Children who are 2-4 years old proceed directly to their classroom where their teacher will lead them in an engaging lesson from The Gospel Story curriculum. This time includes singing, praying, reading God’s Word, a hands-on activity, and fellowship (play!) time with friends.
Elementary School – Elementary students (Kindergarten to 5th) begin the morning by gathering as a group to sing, pray for missionaries, memorize scripture, and hear from God’s Word. This year, we are excited to begin The Biggest Story curriculum. More info can be found at https://www.thebiggeststory.com/. After our group gathering time, early elementary and upper elementary kids move to their own classrooms for discussion and activities.
Learning about, praying for, and encouraging our missionaries.

We filled our scripture memory jar!
Scripture Memory – We encourage families to work on the memory verses from class throughout the week. Children can recite a verse to their teacher before class and add a pom pom to the group jar. When the group jar is full, the entire class will celebrate together! Our hope is that this is a gentle and fun way to encourage scripture memory and that the kids will discover what a joy and help it is to hide God’s Word in their hearts.
Welcoming Environment – We desire that all the children who walk through our doors would know that they are valued and welcome here. If your child has extra support needs, please reach out to us. We will do our best to come alongside your family and child so that they can succeed – and thrive! – as we grow together.
Safety:
In the foyer, you will find a kiosk where you can securely check your child in and print their name tag. They cannot be picked up without the matching security tag.
All of our volunteers are background checked and have completed child safety training.
Please feel free to reach out if you’d like more information on our safety policies.
